VIVÊNCIAS DAS TRADIÇÕES

This project, developed jointly by the Waves Of Youth association and the TAS/TEI2 class students from Escola Secundária Sá da Bandeira (ESSB), is part of the celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of April 25th. It portrays the tradition, the yesteryears of the Avieira culture and the vineyard, going through the folk group and what it was like to live in Alcanhões and Vale de Figueira, in Santarém, during the years of the dictatorship. Through the voices of the communities, we hear the stories of the land, the revolution, and a perspective on the future. A cross-generational meeting where one of the students travels the roads and paths in search of a new record of stories that are fading over time, in an attempt to perpetuate them so that new generations will never forget the achievements of April.
